Interchangeable-lens thermal imaging for varied electrical, mechanical, building and industrial inspections.
Adapt the camera to the inspection: 320 × 240 infrared resolution with UltraMax and FLIR MSX helps capture clear thermal evidence across equipment, buildings and plant assets.
Use the right lens for the job: Compatible AutoCal lenses let you switch field of view for panels, machinery, roofs, tight spaces or more distant targets.
Inspect hotter industrial equipment: A −20°C to 650°C measurement range supports routine fault finding and more demanding maintenance environments.
Keep multi-asset checks organised: FLIR Inspection Route, Ignite and Thermal Studio help structure inspections, store findings and turn site data into useful reports.
The optional 1000°C range requires the separate high-temperature option; it is not part of the standard measurement range.

Standalone operation
The E76 operates as a standalone professional thermal imaging camera. You can capture, review, annotate and store thermal images directly on the camera without connecting to a computer during the inspection.
Images are saved as radiometric files with temperature measurement data, so findings can be reviewed, analysed and reported after the inspection.
Analysis and reporting software
FLIR Thermal Studio Suite provides desktop tools for reviewing thermal images, analysing temperature measurements and preparing inspection reports. Available features depend on the selected software edition and licence.
For cloud-based image storage and sharing, the E76 supports FLIR Ignite through Wi-Fi connectivity. Images can be uploaded from the camera to help keep inspection files organised and easier to share with colleagues or customers.
Inspection routes and on-camera reporting
The E76 supports FLIR Inspection Route, helping maintenance teams follow planned inspection points and keep records organised by asset. This is useful for repeat checks across panels, plant rooms, motors, pumps and building-services equipment.
On-camera reporting tools include voice annotation, GPS tagging, on-screen text and sketch notes, helping you add context to inspection images before they reach the reporting stage.
METERLiNK
FLIR METERLiNK allows readings from compatible FLIR test and measurement instruments to be used alongside your thermal inspection data via Bluetooth. Depending on the connected instrument, these can include electrical measurements or environmental readings.
Combining measurement data with thermal findings gives clearer context for fault assessment and reporting. A compatible FLIR instrument is required and supplied separately.
Software accounts, licences or subscriptions may be required for particular apps and services.

The FLIR E76 is built for electrical contractors, building surveyors, facilities teams and maintenance engineers whose inspections change from close equipment checks to distant or wide-area targets. Its main step up from the E54 is lens and focus flexibility, rather than more native thermal pixels.
It combines 320 × 240 thermal resolution, laser-assisted autofocus, interchangeable AutoCal lenses and MSX image enhancement. You can configure it for electrical equipment, machinery, building fabric and larger sites without committing to the E54’s fixed 24° view.

Quick lens selector
Standard lens 24°
The everyday all-round choice
Choose this for mixed electrical, mechanical and facilities inspections. It balances scene coverage and target detail, and its 24° × 18° field of view suits general-purpose work.
Wide-angle 42°
For larger targets and wider scenes
Choose this to capture more of a building, roof, plant room or large piece of equipment in one image. It’s useful when you can’t step farther back, though it puts fewer detector pixels on a given target than a narrower lens.
Telephoto lens 14°
For smaller or more distant targets
Choose this when you need more image detail on a target that is far away, elevated or unsafe to approach, such as overhead connections or distant electrical equipment.
Ultra-wide lens 80°
For very wide scenes and restricted spaces
Choose this to capture a large area from close range. For the widest view, with less spatial detail on small targets; the camera’s visual camera and LED lamp are disabled while this lens is in use.
FlexView lens 24°/14°
Switch between standard and telephoto views
Choose this when you regularly move between general inspections and smaller or more distant targets. Switch between 24° and 14° at the lens, without removing it.
FlexView lens 42°/24°
Switch between wide-area and standard views
Choose this for large equipment or building surveys where you also need a standard view for closer inspection. Switch between 42° and 24° at the lens.

The FLIR E76 combines 320 × 240 infrared resolution with autofocus, MSX, interchangeable lenses and a standard −20°C to 650°C measurement capability. It suits inspection teams whose targets and working distances change throughout the day.
What is MSX?
MSX adds visible-light edge detail to the thermal image, helping you recognise components and asset positions while retaining the thermal information.
Choose the view for the job
A 14° telephoto lens helps with more distant targets; 42° and 80° options cover wider scenes or restricted spaces. AutoCal lenses are recognised by the camera and calibrated through its lens-change process. Lens choice affects how much detail a target occupies in the image.
Focus as the inspection changes
Laser-assisted autofocus helps when moving between targets at different distances. Manual focus remains available when you want direct control over the image.
Cover routine and specialised temperature checks
The standard ranges are −20°C to 120°C and 0°C to 650°C. A 300°C to 1000°C range is available with the separately purchased high-temperature option.
Keep findings tied to each asset
Inspection Route, on-camera annotations, FLIR Ignite and Thermal Studio help teams collect repeatable evidence and prepare reports after the site visit.
