Corey Technical will manage the process on your behalf, including assessment and repair or replacement where covered by the warranty. We will explain the next steps clearly and keep you updated throughout the process.
All returns, warranty assessments, repairs and replacements must be authorised in advance to ensure safe transit and the most efficient possible resolution.
Standalone operation
The i34 operates as a standalone thermal imaging camera. You can capture, review, annotate and store thermal images directly on its 5-inch touchscreen without connecting to a computer.
Images are saved with temperature measurement data for further analysis and can be transferred to a PC or Mac using USB-C.
Analysis and reporting software
FLIR Thermal Studio Suite provides desktop tools for reviewing thermal images, analysing temperature measurements and preparing inspection reports. Available features depend on the selected software edition and licence.
For cloud-based image storage and sharing, the i34 supports FLIR Ignite through its built-in Wi-Fi connection.
FLIR Assetlink supports inspections organised around your equipment and asset records, helping teams follow inspection routes, associate images with the correct assets and review their condition over time.
On-camera apps
Built on the FLIR ACE platform, the i34 supports compatible apps from FLIR and other developers. These can extend the camera’s capabilities with guided inspections, documentation and connected workflows.
FLIR MeterLink allows readings from compatible FLIR test and measurement instruments to be used alongside your thermal inspection data. Depending on the connected instrument, these can include electrical measurements such as current and voltage, or environmental readings such as moisture.
Combining these measurements with thermal findings provides additional context for fault assessment and reporting. A compatible FLIR instrument is required and is supplied separately.
Software accounts, licences or subscriptions may be required for particular apps and services.

The FLIR i34 combines 240 × 320 infrared resolution, <40 mK thermal sensitivity, MSX image enhancement and a −20°C to 450°C measurement range. Its 5-inch touchscreen, fixed-focus lens and 8 MP autofocus visible camera make it well suited to electrical, mechanical, HVAC and building inspections.
What is MSX?
MSX combines the thermal image with visible-light edge detail from the built-in camera. It does not replace the thermal data or turn the image into a normal photograph; it simply adds outlines and structure so components are easier to recognise. For example, instead of seeing only a warm area on a panel, motor or pipe run, MSX helps you identify the specific terminal, bearing, fuse, label position or mechanical part connected to that heat pattern.
Cover common inspection temperatures with one camera
The i34 offers two measurement ranges: −20°C to 200°C and 10°C to 450°C. This covers routine inspections of distribution boards, control panels, motors, pumps, bearings, pipework, HVAC equipment and building services.
Reveal subtle temperature differences
With thermal sensitivity below 40 mK at 30°C, the i34 can identify small temperature variations that may indicate loose connections, overloaded components, bearing wear or uneven heat distribution. Its 30 Hz image frequency keeps live scanning responsive as you move across equipment.
Make hot spots easier to identify
FLIR MSX adds visible edge detail to the thermal image, helping you connect an abnormal heat pattern to the correct fuse, terminal, bearing or mechanical component. The 8 MP autofocus visible camera and multiple viewing modes provide useful context for inspection records and reports.
Share findings directly from site
Built-in Wi-Fi lets you upload images to FLIR Ignite or Assetlink for organisation, sharing, reporting and analysis. Each JPEG includes 14-bit measurement data, allowing recorded findings to be reviewed and analysed after the inspection.
Everything you need to start inspecting
The FLIR i34 is supplied as a complete professional kit. Ready to use the moment you receive it.
