Standalone operation
The G41H operates as a standalone professional thermal imaging camera. You can capture, review, annotate and store thermal images directly on its 4.3-inch touchscreen without connecting to a computer during the inspection.
Images are saved as radiometric JPEG files containing temperature measurement data. With a removable 64 GB microSD card, the camera has capacity for approximately 60,000 images, allowing inspectors to document extensive maintenance work before transferring files for analysis.
Analysis and reporting software
HIKMICRO Analyzer provides desktop tools for reviewing radiometric thermal images, examining temperature measurements and preparing professional inspection reports.
The software is available without an additional licence purchase, giving contractors and maintenance teams a way to analyse and present findings without immediately committing to a paid reporting subscription.
For mobile working, HIKMICRO Viewer allows compatible camera images to be transferred and shared using a smartphone or tablet. This is useful when findings need to be discussed with a colleague or sent to a customer before a formal report is completed.
Inspection routes and on-camera reporting
The G41H supports HIKMICRO Inspection Route, allowing maintenance teams to work through planned inspection points and keep findings organised by equipment or location.
HIKMICRO Inspector can be used to prepare inspection routes on a computer, helping teams standardise repeat surveys across electrical panels, motors, pumps and other critical equipment.
On-camera documentation includes voice notes up to 60 seconds, text notes up to 200 characters, GPS location information and compass data. These features help preserve context that might otherwise be lost between the inspection and the final report.
Connectivity and remote viewing
The G41H supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB-C and HDMI connectivity.
Radiometric video can be streamed over UVC or Wi-Fi for compatible viewing and recording workflows. This provides additional flexibility when thermal imagery needs to be monitored or analysed away from the camera's own display.
The integrated laser distance meter also measures target distance, helping inspectors record working distances and configure measurement parameters more accurately.
Software functionality and compatibility can depend on the installed firmware, application version and connected device.

The HIKMICRO G41H combines 480 × 360 native thermal resolution, temperature measurement up to 2000°C, 50 Hz imaging and interchangeable optics. It is built for professionals investigating industrial processes where conventional thermal cameras reach their measurement limits and reliable temperature evidence is essential.
What is SuperIR?
HIKMICRO SuperIR enhances captured thermal images from 480 × 360 to 960 × 720 pixels, improving the presentation of edges and fine thermal patterns.
It does not increase the camera's native detector resolution, but can make inspection images easier to examine and present when documenting complex industrial equipment.
Investigate high-temperature equipment in greater detail
With 172,800 native thermal pixels, sensitivity below 35 mK and a standard spatial resolution of 0.68 mrad, the G41H helps engineers examine thermal variations across furnace components, heated machinery and process installations.
This is valuable when investigating uneven heating, abnormal operating conditions or components requiring further maintenance assessment.
Inspect difficult targets from practical working distances
Laser-assisted, continuous, automatic, manual and touch focusing help maintain image sharpness as inspection distances change.
The included 18.7° × 14° standard lens provides a relatively narrow field of view for detailed inspections. Optional wide-angle and telephoto lenses offer flexibility when assessing larger installations or more distant components.
Measure temperatures beyond conventional camera limits
The G41H measures temperatures from −20°C to 2000°C, supporting inspections ranging from ordinary electrical and mechanical equipment to extreme-temperature industrial processes.
